This is what Sunday looks like - a big fat eat whatever we want. Breakfast is easy for me but the rest of our meals...not so much. I keep mentioning this but I am really struggling with meal planning. Trying to find things that fit in the category of clean eating organic look good to me and now low fat and low sugar and thus low carb for my husband is proving to hinder me useless. Oh yea and my husband is the pickiest eater ever -- meat and potatoes all the way and two picky toddlers. I used to be pretty good at meal planning but now I have found that I need to throw out a good portion of my go-to recipes because they no longer fit our needs. I sit down to look at recipes and go down the rabbit hole - cant find what I want cant decide recipe doesnt exactly meet needs no clue where I would get a few of the ingredients. Order it oh wait then I cant have it for dinner tonight and repeat. Then I have wasted tons of time and still have no plan. I guess the education process and change is a little hard but if I look at what I have accomplished -- I am slowly making progress. Learning how to substitute things having better pantry staples learning tricks and trying new recipes. One of my goals this year is try more new recipes and I have definitely been doing that lately. Any advice?
